June is great month. Gardens get bigger, flowers are in bloom, & we start to notice bunnies in the yard. As we are all enjoying the flowers, don't forget about all those creative ways to display them. Save those spice jars, jam jars, & honey jars. We save them all! Throughout the year, I love using our old jars, not just for storing small things, but for flowers in the summer. They become great little treasures by the desk, bedroom, bathroom, & by the kitchen sink. Or place them all together on a serving dish with a little fruit. It's food for the senses.
"In June, as many as a dozen species may burst their buds on a single day.
No man can heed all of these anniversaries; no man can ignore all of them."
~Aldo Leopold
Our jars are filled with roses, sweet william, peonies, & dianthus. It makes for an amazing aroma. |
To pleasant picking of flowers!
