The Mint Needle

Spring has sprung!  And in celebration of this time of year, I've completed an adorable little quilt packed with tiny gnomes! Everything about this piece screams,  Hello Spring! Made with a simple pattern of sawtooth stars, each block measures  5  3/4"  x  5  3/4"  finished. The completed size is 33 1/4 inches by 40. This quilt kinda came to be by accident. The gnome fabric was originally intended to be used for aprons. After some time, I realized it wasn't going to happen. Add some scrapped solids lying around..... Voila! What a beautiful combination these made together! I'm so glad I stitched this up! And that backing.... How perfect are those tiny colorful mushrooms?  You can definitely say I've been on a mushroom kick in this house!  Wait till you see the next project I'm working on! ...

Oh I can't believe I've done only 1 post for the most inspiring month of the year!?!? I have to admit, it's all delightful... ya know the things that have been taking up the most time. And tonight... well.... you guessed it, I wanted to play catch up and share what's been going on... These adorable aprons have been selling out in my Etsy shop! Hooray!! Question for you all.... How many of you would be interested in a sewing pattern? For example, I create all my pieces by hand without patterns. Yes, I know, it sounds crazy, but I do jot down measurements . Creating a PDF downloadable pattern would be a great way to share how these darling aprons are made!
