Happy Fourth of July readers! To show our spirit, I made this cute, patriotic banner for our family picnic. Take a look! To start off, I placed all my pieces out to create a pattern & pinned them. A good rule of thumb for a pretty banner is that you should only use 3-4 fabric patterns when using multiple colors. I stitched the banner together once & then a second time with double folded bias tape. For a half hours worth of time, I was able to add a cute touch to our little tent:) The only thing I wish was that I made a couple more. I love the patterns & how they look together. We started our celebration a day early.... It's two days of lounging with family, friends, & tasty food. Could you blame us?
